Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa is the former leading singer for the Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She currently sings with the Swedish melodic-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31st, 1985) is a Canadian singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy, and former the lead singer and founding member of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. The combination of singing and grunting (clean vocals) are part of her unique vocal style. The majority of her work is associated with Metalcore and melodic deaths, but she's also played with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. White-Gluz (2004-2014). In 2004 White-Gluz along with her fellow band members Danny Marino, Chris Kells and Chris Kells formed The Agonist in Montreal, Quebec. White-Gluz recorded three albums in the band for The Agonist as the lead vocalist. White Gluz quit the Agonist when he was offered the chance to sing with Arch Enemy in 2014.
