Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. The majority of her work comes in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's dad was a Madras High Court lawyer. Andrea is the youngest sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started classical piano lessons at age eighteen, was described as an "geek" and aspired to be a psychiatric nurse until her board exam in 12th grade. Young Stars was the Jackson Five band Andrea joined when she turned age 10. This led to her first professional singing experience and early music composition. She also worked as an actor in the college. She was also the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Her 2006 role in the brand new Leo Coffee advert included Shiva. Also, she was a part of a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. The actress has also appeared on stage in India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). Gautham Vaisudev Menon was able to have her sing in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and then wanted her to take on the female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in this film, that is a re-imagining of James Siegel's novel Derailed. The husband of the character is involved in a relationship with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea was picked to play the character after actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. It was first released in the early part of 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu released his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to fill a smaller support role. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie directed by Rajeeev Ravi, released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
