Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her family is the fourth Roberts family that lived in Atlanta. It began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. She inherited her father's interest in theater from a young time. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. During his time stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. They got married in 1955. Their first baby son Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after the couple had left the US Air Force. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it lasted 6 years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also known as Julie) in this time.
